New Florida bill bans "required" use of pronouns
Or as the radical left says: "Florida drops new 'don't say gay' bill"
Yesterday, Florida Representative Ryan Chamberlin dropped HB 599 which “prohibits employees & contractors of certain employers from being required to use, from providing, & from being asked to provide certain titles & pronouns; prohibits employees & contractors from being penalized or subjected to certain actions for not providing certain titles & pronouns; prohibits adverse personnel action on basis of deeply held religious or biology-based beliefs; provides administrative & civil remedies; provides that it is unlawful employment practice for nonprofit organization to require certain training, instruction, or activity.”
Of course, the radical left, the Marxist movement, cannot let this opportunity to gaslight the masses pass them by. The MSM is calling this new bill that prohibits compelled speech is brining “don’t say gay into the workplace.”
The bill doesn’t say anything about saying “gay” at all. In fact, most gay people realize that there are only two genders/sexes and do not play the pronoun game. LGBTQ Nation has a list of pronouns that consists entirely of made-up words. A large part of the LGBTQ+/Marxist movement is controlling the language and controlling the way people must use it. They have weaponized language.
HB 599 would prohibit employers from punishing or terminating an employee for not using pronouns that do not correspond with another person’s biological sex (exceptions for genetic defects) or from providing their own pronouns to an employer.
It’s unfortunate that such a bill needs to be considered at all, but given that the LGBTQ+/Marxist movement seeks to control the speech of others and penalize those who do not comply, this type of policy is necessary and we will most certainly see it in other states in 2024.
The bill also prohibits any non-profit that receives funding from the state of Florida from “requiring any training, instruction, or other activity on sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.” Again, there is no ban on saying the word “gay” in the workplace. This bill is a means to protect employees/contractors from being forced to comply with an ideology that is not based in reality.
